Protection
Before using PowerJumperz for the first time the most important consideration is protective clothing. We recommend that you wear a protective helmet with knee, elbow pads and wrist guards. Comfortable
clothing should be worn that allows for freedom of movement together with training shoes.
First Steps
When putting on your PowerJumperz for the first time many people find the easiest method to be sitting on a raised surface such as a firm stool or solid bench. Ensure the knee brace is adjusted so that it sits just below the knee cap. Position your legs into each stilt and fix the straps, the foot and leg should be held firmly into position but there is no need to over tighten the straps. 
When standing for the first time we recommend you have the assistance of a friend whilst you gain your balance. PowerJumperz need a firm surface such as tarmac, concrete or a dry short cut grass. Be careful of slippery wet surfaces as this could result in a fall especially when beginning. Do not attempt to run or jump, get used to your PowerJumperz by taking simple slow steps. Most people will be able to take some simple steps after only 10 minutes.

An Important Lesson
Once you have gained confidence with your PowerJumperz an important lesson to learn is to lower yourself down on a flat surface and learning how to stand up by yourself. This technique is very useful and will help to build your confidence to use your PowerJumperz in public areas where there may not always be a raised surface or a friend to help.
To stand up unaided place your dominant leg in front bent at the knee with your PowerJumperz foot firmly on the ground, steady yourself on the ground with your free arm and push up firmly from the leg.. To lower yourself it is a similar movement but in reverse.
